When we look at the magnitude and complexity of God’s law we see revealed in the Old Testament, it is clear that it’s so intricately complicated that no one can never keep God’s law. The purpose of the law is to show us how unable we are to keep the law by ourselves and manifest the whole world as guilty before God. Therefore, the law should lead us to one simple conclusion – only God could keep his own law. God became a man in Jesus Christ and kept the law perfectly that we might be saved to heaven by the obedience of One (not many) of God’s perfect law.
