In our warfare of Christian discipleship, it’s vitally important for our head to be protected. What has God ordained to protect our heads in this battle? The salvation of Jesus Christ. We put on the helmet of salvation and trust in Jesus for not only our eternal salvation but also for deliverances and providential salvation in our daily lives as well. Our salvation in Christ protects our minds, our thoughts, and sets our affection on godly things, protecting our heads from Satan’s deceit to deceive our minds.
