There are many instances in scripture – and no doubt in our lives around us as well – where God blessed someone based upon the faith or obedience or another. This morning we look at the examples of the four friends of the man sick of palsy, Abraham and Lot, Laban and Jacob, and others. As we look at the example of Sodom where God would have spared the entire city for only ten righteous persons, we are exhorted to ask the introspective question – are we among the “ten righteous” who are living godly to preserve others from the judgment of God? We pray that we can be counted among that number.
