The pattern for worship in the New Testament Church is presented by Jesus in John 4, as worship in Spirit and in truth. We must rely on the Holy Spirit of God to bless our worship services, and for us to convey and exhibit the correct spirit in our worship in the church. We must also be careful and vigilant to worship according to the truth of God’s word, to worship the Lord in truth, as well as with the right Spirit.
