Time Salvation – Salvation of Yourself and Others

The Gospel of Grace Radio Broadcast from 3-26-2017.  Text from: 1 Tim. 4:15-16

As we continue to consider the differences between eternal salvation and time salvation, this morning we consider some specific verses that declare that we can save ourselves and save others from certain things here in time.  We have already laid the scriptural foundation that eternal salvation is by grace alone, with no works of man involved, and also that we cannot save ourselves but can only be saved by Jesus Christ.  Furthermore, we cannot save others in eternity, that is only accomplished by Jesus Christ as well.  How do we then reconcile those facts with verses that implore the child of God to save themselves and save others?  These various salvations occur here in time to where if we take heed to scripture and instruct others to do the same, we can be delivered from all manner of evil and judgment as we live here in this world.  These verses we consider today, have no bearing on a man’s eternal state but deal with temporal deliverances here in the world around us.
