The Gospel of Grace Radio Broadcast from 9-03-2017. Text from: Acts 2:42, Titus 2:1-7
Since the Old Testament commands God’s people to observe the seventh day Sabbath, why do we then in the New Testament church worship on Sunday, the first day of the week? The Mosaic law was fulfilled by Jesus Christ and we are not under bondage or requirement to observe any of that law. However, we worship on the first day of the week to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and to each week meditate on Jesus’ power and victory over death.
