In our daily prayers we are taught to pray for God’s will to be done in earth, as in heaven. That begs the question then, what is God’s providential will for my life? Well, the challenge all throughout our lives is trying to answer that question properly. We try to consider a framework to make godly decisions, to discern God’s providential will in wisdom. One of the greatest things to remember is not to compare ourselves to others or compare ourselves to other societal norms or pressures. God’s providential guidance in my life cannot be compared to others, but guided by my obedience to the Lord’s leadership in my life.
