We are thankful for God interjecting himself into the ruin of man to change the course of the narrative and “nevertheless” God will bless us. Despite the sin we see in this world of wicked men and others, in spite of that “nevertheless” God will exalt and bless his children in his kingdom. We also consider that despite Peter’s personal doubt, “nevertheless” at the word of God he would let down the net, and of course he drew in a great blessing and draught of fishes.
