Jesus Christ is our victorious, triumphant Savior. In ancient times, a king would return from war, after conquering his enemies, and the victorious parade would be known as a triumph. Jesus Christ, our King of kings, came and defeated our great enemy of death and sin and was resurrected triumphant, having conquered all our foes and enemies in this world.
