As we begin a sermon series considering the providence of God, we try to give an overview of God’s providence. Providence means to see beforehand, but not just to see beforehand, but to procure everything that is necessary beforehand for a future need. The Lord in his perfect omniscience sees the needs of his children and providentially provides for our needs according to his will.
