One of the greatest examples of God’s overruling providence – not working in conjunction with sin, but God’s overruling the wickedness of man – is the life of Joseph. Even through the sin of others and difficult circumstances in Joseph’s life, God still guided and put Joseph in the exact right position at the exact right time to save not only his family and the Messianic seed, but millions of people from starvation in the midst of famine.
