God is the Potter of his children, and we are the clay. God in his perfect wisdom as our Potter, uses specific people and circumstances to mold us into the vessel he intends for us to be in service in his kingdom. Sometimes it takes many years to mold us for future service. It took Moses 40 years on the Potter’s wheel to be prepared to lead Israel out of bondage. It took Joseph 13 years on the Potter’s wheel to prepare him to be second in command of all of Egypt. God is working and molding on on his Potter’s wheel today to be a vessel more meet for the Master’s use.
