Christ has loved His elect bride from all of eternity past and will continue to love her into all of eternity future. The bride has also been given an assurance of the Husband’s love towards her, which is the Holy Spirit of promise in the heart of the believer. The choice of a bride that Christ made from before the foundation of the world, is culminated when at the end of time the angels announce that the marriage supper of the Lamb has come – at which time, the bride will be consummate as one with the Husband who has loved her for all of eternity.
