We examine the role of the high priest in the Levitical law, pointing towards Jesus Christ as our Great High Priest. The high priest wore specific garments that show his representation of God’s people for the remission of sins. Jesus Christ as our Great High Priest came and represented all of the elect to enter into heaven before God to make sacrifices to take away our sins.
