It is a wonderful and mysterious paradox that Jesus Christ was both fully the Son of God and also fully the Son of man. There are many descriptions of God in scripture in his divinity, but yet Jesus as God took upon himself the form of a man and felt human emotions, suffering, and weakness as we all do. Jesus had to be God to be qualified to save us, and yet he had to be man to be able to die to save us. Let us never doubt the mysterious truth of God’s word that Jesus Christ was both 100% God and 100% man.
