As we seek to discern God’s will in prayer and submission, the Lord will oftentimes guide us with a still, small voice in our soul. Scripture compares this still, small voice to hearing a voice behind us saying, this is the way, walk ye in it. When we might err from the way to the right or left, that voice of our soul’s conscience will speak to us and convict us to correct our pathway in accordance with God’s will. It is vitally important that we are quiet to be able to listen to the voice of God that will guide in the way of God’s will.
