In the tabernacle, we find the outer court with the brazen alter and laver, entering into the Holy Place. As we enter into the Holy Place, we see a picture of the church – with the table of shewbread, golden candlestick, and altar of incense. The church partakes of Christ as the bread of life, the church is the light of the world, and our prayers come up before God as a sweet-smelling savor.
