The final and seventh piece of the armour of God is the mind of prayer. The soldier must have his mind set and focused on the battle, not distracted. The soldier has to have confidence to call in reinforcements from headquarters from the Captain of our salvation. We have to be vigilant to pray always to protect ourselves from the devil who is trying to deceive and corrupt our minds.
