Finishing our consideration of the day of atonement, we look at the fulfillment of this type in Jesus Christ as confirmed in Heb. 9-10. Jesus Christ entered into the holy place one time to obtain eternal redemption for his people by his shed blood upon the mercy seat. There is no more offering required for our eternal salvation because Jesus saved his people from their sins on that eternal day of atonement.
