Beginning to consider the account of Abraham on Mt Moriah, we first set the standard of the sovereignty of God. Many people will boldly question God’s sovereignty – to question God’s authority to do as pleases, when he pleases, how he pleases, and to whom he pleases. We must first accept and understand that God is always righteous to exercise his sovereignty in his interactions with mankind and with his children.
