Scripture gives us pictures of God through descriptions in human terms, even though God is a Spirit. We can see the love of God in this world exhibited through the actions of his people. We see God by a self-sacrificial spirit to love our neighbors, to freely give of our own goods to help others, and to give up our time in fellowship together. Let us carry out the testimony of God’s love in this world by loving our neighbors in the same way that we have been loved by Jesus Christ.
