We have eternal security in Jesus Christ, we are “preserved” in Christ. There is no possibility of a child of God loosing his eternal salvation because God preserves all his children. Our salvation is not secure or maintained by our works or by us persevering to the end in good works, but instead our eternal life is hidden and secure and safe and preserved in Jesus Christ our Lord.
