Sometimes we can ask God in prayer for something just one time, and if we don’t get it, then we will give up. Instead, the Bible teaches us to be persistent in prayer, to diligently bring our burdens before the Lord as often as our hearts’ desire. However, we also need to discern God’s will to accept the Lord’s answer when he closes a door. Let us be diligent and persistent in prayer.
