Arguably the most blessed “nevertheless” in scripture is the certainty of God’s faithfulness to his children despite our failings. Even when we fail the Lord each day and break our side of the covenant, nevertheless God will not break his covenant with his people made before the world began. Even if we are deceived by false doctrines and our faith is overthrown, nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his.
