In the Doctrines of Grace, we consider the irresistible calling of grace. No one has the ability to reject the calling of Jesus Christ unto the dead heart of the child of God. We are naturally dead in sins and therefore have no ability to reject the sovereign calling of God in regeneration, in the new birth. God’s grace bestowed in the new birth is irresistible.
