We again see the beautiful picture of the Lord’s church in the fetching of Rebekah by Abraham’s servant. The servant came from a household where covenants were to be upheld and honored, the same as the church. We see his fervency of mission to address Rebekah even though he was no doubt very weary from his journey. Let us seek the kingdom of God first and foremost in our lives, just as Abraham’s servant.
