We see in the calling of Rebekah to be Isaac’s bride the life of a believer in Jesus Christ. We are called out of darkness into the marvelous light of God in the new birth, but then we are called to follow Jesus when we called in discipleship. Rebekah was willing to forsake her homeland and family to follow the calling of God.
