We consider together the various descriptions of regeneration in the scriptures. Regeneration is called a new birth, being born again. We are born into this world as flesh, natural, carnal nature that cannot understand spiritual things until we are born again. Regeneration is also described as creation. Just as God is sovereign in natural creation, God is also the sole means of spiritual creation, giving life unto those whom have no spiritual life in their nature.
