There was no more clear picture of the “unclean” nature of the sinner than the leper. They had to be removed from fellowship with their loved ones because of their contamination. Their mouth must proclaim they are unclean. However, when they are healed, there is special cleansing and offerings that were necessary that point us towards Jesus Christ and his cleansing his people from the horrible leprosy of our sins.
