For the child of God, the greatest joy in our life will be in serving God and serving others. This is contrary to our nature, we naturally want others to serve and wait on us hand and foot. When Jesus came into this world, he came not to be ministered unto (to be served) but instead he came to minister (to serve others). We follow Jesus’ example and attempt to joyfully serve others in our life of discipleship.
