We consider the experience of Nathaniel with God under the fig tree. When Nathaniel heard of Jesus Christ, that is not when he was born again because he already had a prior experience with God under the fig tree. If you have experienced God under the fig tree, then you need to come unto Jesus Christ in discipleship and confess Jesus as the Son of God, just as Nathaniel.
